Basic Programming for Instruction.

Basic Programming is an important element in the teaching ability of every successful teacher. Most teachers, however, do it instinctively. Exploring and analyzing the programming process may make teachers more conscious of this aspect of good teaching. A simple example of basic programming is the explanation of processes involving sequences which utilize concrete objects. For example, the process of sharpening a pencil can be described verbally as follows:
