Study of the possibilities for optimisation of positioning of electric vehicles

The paper represents some possibilities for optimizing the positioning of electric vehicles. An approach has been developed that allows identification of the mass of the load in each positioning cycle. It can be implemented in electric vehicles with fully regulatable traction drives. Following the proposed algorithm, the control system provides a precise positioning, in which the travel time with low speed before the final braking tends to 0. In this way, the productivity and performance are significantly increased, as well as energy efficiency.
