On the locality of some optimal ternary codes with dimension 6

The locality of a locally repairable code for a distributed storage system is the number of nodes that participate in the repair of failed nodes, which characterizes the repair cost. In this paper, based on the concept of MacDonald codes and anticodes, using the method of combination and puncturing, we present the construction of optimal [n, 6]3codes for n ≥ 365, then determine the locality of these optimal codes.
