To mitigate this problematic situation, the HPCMP CREATETM-AV team has, over time, innovated creative and efficient processes, procedures, and custom software. This paper documents the various tools, procedures, and paradigms used to efficiently manage multiple production-quality codes on a range of hardware platforms. Specifically, it focuses on the processes for distributed code development and management, procedures for building and deploying on Distributed Shared Resource Center (DSRC) assets and other hardware, the paradigm shift in dealing with differing compilers and libraries, and the rigorous testing methodology that ensures the delivery of a professional quality product.
