The early and effective integration of human factors requirements into systems engineering has been a primary goal among human factors practitioners for decades. Fundamental to achieving this objective is the development of techniques that are capable of (a) supporting the management of large quantities of task analysis data, and (b) exploiting these data to deliver rational and objective outputs that are capable of supporting decision making in design.
