Implications of Blockchain Technology for the UNCITRAL Works

The first half of this article examines the existing UNCITRAL works to see what legal issues arising from the use of the blockchain technology may be resolved under such works. The second half of this article turns to examine a practically significant problem raised by the technology which calls for a globally unified solution but is untouched by the existing works of UNCITRAL or any other international organization.
