Low-Level Image Features in Orthographic Projection Snapshot to 3D Coordinate Retrieval

Prasertsak Tiawongsombat, Inthawadee Chantaksinopas · 2020

Human can comprehend an engineering drawing and its contents by interpreting extracted information from the image. Hence, for the computer to perform the same task, such information in an image about the semantic of its contents is required. In particular, this information is usually derived from the low-level features. In this paper, the procedure of essential feature extraction from the drawing is discussed. Finally, the approach for 3D coordinate retrieval from obtained data is explained and the respective 3D model is reconstructed.
