The use of graphical presentation is now wide-spread, and it is becoming increasingly popular and important as a means of prescn ting data and conveying factual information. Even a cursory comparison of today's newspapers, magazines, and scientific and commercial publications with those of a few years ago indicates a definite trend toward an increased use of graphic methods.
