Chaotic Evolutionary Algorithm

The paper describes a chaotic optimization algorithm to globally find a minimum of a nonlinear unconstrained optimization problem. It is a hybrid algorithm that operates in two stages. While in stage one a chaotic map helps in taking the search near to the global optimum point, stage two finds the exact solution using the evolutionary search algorithm. Results of the algorithm for some benchmark functions are also provided to corroborate the algorithm.
