Hands-on training is the best way of learning, especially the training in industry. One of the most common problems if a company must train a great amount of workers at the same time is the high cost of training sets. The emerging of electrical vehicle (EV) forces the traditional automotive industry to shift its manufacturing paradigm, especially in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area of Thailand. To enable the training to run parallelly, the concept of virtual reality (VR) training is constructed. This work demonstrates the effective approach of pedagogical and instructional training courses (ADDIE model) based on VR technology. This virtual reality training environment functions as expected and receives a remarkable high score of 4.7 out of 5.
