In recent years, the Internet of things have grown dramatically. Students who are interested in IoT fields need a free platform to learn about the IoT components and build their systems. Therefore, this paper proposes a design and implementation of a campus IoT cloud platform. The platform provides four main services: MQTT broker, Node-RED, Apache Spark, and Databases. For testing the proposed platform, we show the steps for building a basic plant watering IoT system that the plant watering pump can be turned on or turned off via the machine learning prediction model from the sensor's temperature and moisture data that stream to our platform. The result showed that the IoT system is easy to be implemented by using our platform.
