Design and Implementation of a System for Monitoring and Control of the Drying Process as a Learning Opportunity

There are courses in engineering that cannot demonstrate the overall production process. Mathematical models of their most important parts are used in teaching so that students can gain an idea of their management and control. This paper presents an idea for a comprehensive follow-up of the process of drying fruits or vegetables. This is a relatively long process, which can take more than a day. Students can set a selected automatic control and during the drying process they can monitor various output parameters and change others (input) remotely from their laptops, computers or mobile devices.
