To cope with the rapidly growing demand on mobile data services, the device-to-device (D2D) communication aided proactive content caching techniques have attracted increasing attention, thanks to their notable advantages in the support of network traffic offloading. In this paper, we propose a joint content placement and delivery mechanism for D2D content sharing, aiming to reduce the increasing pressure on the backhaul link of cellular networks. Specifically, the system utility is optimized by jointly considering a few aspects, such as the social relationships and the physical links between users, as well as the popularity of diverse contents. Accordingly, a distributed algorithm is designed to cope with the matching and trading processes of the targeted optimization problem. Simulation results demonstrate the significant gains of the proposed scheme over its existing counterparts.
