Analytics Automation for Service Orchestration
Ravi Potluri, Kristen Young · 2020
Automated network slice deployment and operation requires deployment of analytics applications to enable closed-loop management of network slices. In this paper, we propose the concept of analytics services which are formed by stitching analytics engines/modules and analytics controllers together. We also propose the automated design and deployment of such decomposed analytics service through the use of machine executable descriptors that describe an analytics service consisting of analytics engines/modules, and analytics controllers. Having such standard descriptors would support interoperable components of an analytics service. The relationship of analytics service with respect to industry standards such as 3GPP's NWDAF, ONAP DCAE and O-RAN's O1 interface is also discussed.
