The Magnitude comparator is an essential part of any Arithmetic and Logic Unit (ALU). The very high speed and massive data capabilities of Optical multivalued logic computing demands for further development of the logic systems and its applications. The quadruple valued logic system is such an optical multivalued logic system. Therefore, the development of an optical quadruple logic system based magnitude comparator would be an essential step for the development of the quadruple ALU. This paper introduces a design for the optical Quadruple Magnitude Comparator (QMC) and its Optical Tree Architecture (OTA) is developed. The Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) and Savart plates are used to realize the optical design.
