Redefining Cybersecurity with AI and Machine Learning
International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2023
The use of cloud and mobile computing, as well as the growing number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, have resulted in an era of digital transformation. With this comes a rapid rise in cybersecurity risks and threat levels. The dispersion of data across systems, gadgets, and the cloud increases the attack surface and raises the incidence of security breaches.Drones, autonomous vehicles, smart buildings, industrial machinery, consumer items, and household appliances are all included in the Internet of Things, making us more open to attacks. In order to proactively detect and respond to security threats and minimize the time it takes to uncover a possible breach, organizations must have an efficient information security management system (ISMS) in place. This article demonstrates how cybersecurity can be redefined to identify and shield enterprises from security risks and data breaches using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
