The Resolution of Atan2-Function

Atan2-function is widely used by rotor position sensor. In order to improve the sensor accuracy the relation between the noise at input signals and at the output signal of atan2- function must be determined. The inductive method can be used to derive this relation. Moreover, deductive proofs for this relation are made. Furthermore, the equation for the two dimensional problem is validated with measurements.
