Key storage is assumed by a local key store. Each key is identified by a unique alias, an array of binary data actually containing the key data, an optional password for protecting the key from unauthorized access and a list of certificates, which is only required for protecting private keys in case of asymmetric encryptions.Implementation of a key store is application responsibility, however, the default SCEDF implementation incorporates a Java Keystore [157], which exactly states and implements these requirements.
