Remarks on statistical evaluations for facial expression recognition

Buket Şimşek · AIP conference proceedings · 2020

In “Multidimensional Bernstein polynomials and Bézier curves: Analysis of machine learning algorithm for facial expression recognition based on curvature, Appl. Math. Comput. 344–345 (2019) 150–162”, some statistical evaluations on feature vectors were given in order to analyse their meaningfulness while classifying human facial expressions. In this paper, by using some results arising from SPSS program, we provide some further statistical evaluations and observations which are related to features based on the calculated Hausdorff distances between Bézier curves belonging to the regions that shape human facial expressions.
