Performance Analysis of Markov Retrial Queueing Model under Admission Control F-Policy
Rakesh Kumar Meena, Pankaj Kumar · 2020
The key objective of this study is to examine the queueing characteristic of the F-policy retrial queueing model with a working vacation and balking. In the vacation time, the server is allowed to do the service but at a slower speed than that of the usual busy era. The system’s transient analysis is carried out using Runge-Kutta method. Specific queueing characteristics are defined to characterize the transient behavior of system built, such as mean queue size, expected delay time, system cost, etc. The influence of different system parameters on particular system metrics is explored by taking numerical example.
