A Step Recovery Diode Frequency Multiplier

Step recovery diodes are usually used for single-step, high-order frequency multiplier. The design of a step recovery diode multiplier will be described. The input frequency is 100 MHz, the wideband output frequencies are from 1~4 GHz, the single output frequency is 2 GHz. First, a comb generator will be simulated and designed by using the software HSpice. And then a band pass filter will be simulated and designed by using software ADS(Advanced Design System), and the bandwidth is 100MHz and the pass-band is 1.95GHz~2.05GHz.
