with comparative ease. This technique may readily be extended to mixtures of other beta emitters whose analysis is rendered difficult or tedious because of numerous experimental considerations. Samples of separated Zr/sup 95/ and Nb/sup/95/ were calibrated in a beta -- gamma coincidence arrangement, utilizing the liquld scintillator to detect their beta particles. (auth)
