Statistical Graphics Procedures

CARLA L. GOAD · 2020

Statistical Graphics procedures are the newer graphics components in SAS. With very little syntax, readers will be able to produce presentation quality graphics using these procedures. Some of the options for enhancing colors or symbols in the graphs will be covered. There are several attractive features in Statistical Graphics. The SGPANEL procedure is the newer and quicker way to produce panel graphs in SAS that previously required a broader knowledge of SAS/GRAPH. Advanced topics of SGRENDER and SGDESIGN are not covered in this book. The novice SAS programmer will be successful in completing this chapter. Much of the same terminology as Chapter 5, Beginning Charts, is used in this chapter. For ease of SAS data set access, objectives are accomplished using permanent SAS data sets (Chapter 12).
