Today Internet of Things (IoT) has become very important, with sensing devices that can collect or generate several items of sensory data for some time to enhance its a wide range of applications. These devices are used for faster or real-time data streams to collect sensing data. A huge number of devices are expected to fulfill the missions of sensing, processing and control in cyber-physical IoT with new applications and connectivity requirements. Edge intelligence (EI) is edge computing with machine learning (ML), data mining (DM) and advanced networking capabilities that are associated with the domain of computational intelligence. Today, edge analysis in the IoT domain has entirely expanded new business and market trends, with both the customers and vendors. In this chapter, the thorough overview of using advanced ML approaches, namely deep learning (DL), is used in the edge analysis domain for real-time data streams. Here several applications in the area of healthcare and industrial area in the IoT domain are illustrated briefly.
