Analogical model for self-sustained sounds generated by organ pipe

Abstract:- We use independent component analysis, an entropy based method to study self-sustained sound generated by organ pipe and recorded in an anechoic chamber. We recover a simple analogical model that can be ascribed to the same types of Woodhouse, Yoschikawa models [3,11]. Our model is able to reproduce in the listening the generated sound. Key-Words:- Self-sustained, sound, organ pipe, independent component analysis, nonlinearity, limit cycles.
