Autonomous implementation of decentralized capabilities necessitates an infrastructure that empowers each node in a distributed topology. The Blockchain provides a mechanism to enable the distributed model, wherein a trusted association between the nodes is maintained without a centralized authority. The chapter explores and offers an explanation as to how Blockchain is used to enhance a distributed embedded network. Smart Gym has been taken as a case study, to witness how Blockchain enabled cyber physical systems supersede the contemporary cyber physical systems. Cyber physical system (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT) refer to amalgamation of digital capabilities, such as network connectivity and computational capability, with physical devices and systems. Instances range from intelligent gym equipment, smart automobiles to modernized industrial automation and mechanized systems, in various sectors, such as farming, healthcare, smart city, and the like. Usually, experts associate the IoT model with centralized architectures, where infrastructures, like the cloud, control the smart devices registered in the IoT network. However, centralized services of the IoT ecosystem are inadequate. Hence, autonomous implementation of decentralized capabilities necessitates an infrastructure that empowers nodes in a distributed topology. The Blockchain provides a mechanism to enable the distributed model, wherein a trusted association between the nodes is maintained without a centralized authority. Smart Gym has been taken as a case study to witness a Blockchain-enabled cyber physical system
