In the next years, the amount of public destatization (public-private partnerships and privatizations) in Brazil should increase, according to the federal government. The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), a state-owned company, as a new provider of services for public sector and responsible for structuring these projects has the challenge of conduct this process in a transparent and reliable way. This paper presents a proposal to use Blockchain technology (BCT) for privatization and public-private partnerships (PPPs) agreements structured by BNDES, which is expected to increase the transparency not only on the bidding process for study providers, including payments and contracted service delivery, but also on the management of the contract during its execution.
