A Review of Digital Signal Modulation Methods Based on Wavelet Transform

The modulation and identification of digital signals has become an important topic in wireless communication field due to its good anti-noise performance and confidentiality of information. As one of the most important methods of the modulation recognition, wavelet transform doesn't require the prior knowledge of received signals, and has evident advantages in feature extraction. Therefore, this paper will analyze the principle of wavelet transform in brief, compare its advantages and disadvantages with other modulation recognition methods. What's more, the application characteristics of wavelet transform in various fields is analyzed by summarizing the results of current research. Finally, the development trend of wavelet transform method is also given.
