Internet of Things (IoT) connects billions of devices around the world. Hence the amounts of data collected from those IoT devices are enormous in amount and most of the data are of critical importance that needs to be handled immediately. Hence knowing the critical sensor data in prior will be of high importance in solving real world risk involved problems. In this paper a Hidden Markov Model (HMM) based on Baum-Welch Algorithm is proposed to classify the future generated sensor data as critical or normal. And also the proposed work is compared with the HMM based on Viterbi Algorithm in which the proposed work out performs the compared work with a prediction accuracy of 88.86%.
