Kazunari Ito · 2019
We have been implementing a programming tool for novices called “Pictogramming,” which has been released on the web. In this application, parts of a human-shaped pictogram can be moved using a command sequence called the “Pictogram Animation Command.” The application also enables the drawing of the movement history of a body and this drawing is called the “Pictogram graphics”, which is similar to turtle graphics. This paper presents extend “Pictogram graphics” to draw using the movement history of specified body parts, called “Human Motion Drawing”. Through this method, various figures can be drawn by sequentially or concurrently combining certain simple commands. We conduct the some lessons with 2-class of 80 second-year junior high school students to evaluate the effectiveness of this method by SD (Semantic Differential) scale method and analyzing free form text. We found the result of the lesson which learned by this proposed method was well as rest of lessons.
