The influence of positive or negative impacts on information behavior

Nicole L. Bank · Proceedings of the Association for Information Science and Technology · 2020

Abstract In recent progress in information behavior research, people have been at the center of investigations. The current proposal suggests adding the influence of impacts to Wilson's general model of information processing and use. By accounting for past experiences with information sources, information scientists are better able to tackle society's grand challenges.
