Water, a crucial resource for all living beings, is becoming scarce, which results in a shortage of water supply. It also results in inadequate quality water supply. To solve the problem, different water conservation methods like rainwater harvesting are being used. This paper aims to improve the traditional water harvesting technique by automating the process of the use of water from water harvesting tanks using different IoT sensors like nodemcu, water flow sensor, ultrasonic sensor, etc. Also, all the usage of water is stored in the blockchain, which makes the system transparent to all and tamperproof. Therefore, using the proposed method, the wastage of water is reduced as the process of water transfer is automated by using different IoT sensors, and the quality of water is maintained as all the information about the usage of water is monitored through the blockchain.
