Optimal Management of Water Resources in Large Main Canals with Cascade Pumping Stations

A mathematical model of the unsteady flow of water on sections of main canals by limited hydraulic structures has been developed. And also the statement of problems of optimal control of water distribution in the main canals is developed. A fundamental solution is obtained for a one-dimensional differential equation describing the unsteady movement of water in sections of main canals.
