Premkumar Chithaluru, Ravi Prakash · 2020
The book chapter aims to explore the organization&s;s security policies and their aftereffects by presenting various requirements for effective implementation and the need to have specific standards that, when implemented and practiced, would go a long way in ensuring the organization&s;s near-foolproof security. The safety level relies on the quantity as well as the quality of equipment and the criticality of the company varies from industry to industry. Each company cannot meet the same safety criteria, so the security policy enforced may differ from one location to another. The security policy is the cornerstone of physical security and this chapter aims to analyze the standard requirement for protection and its strengths and weaknesses in different industries. However, a security policy cannot provide optimization on its own. It has to be complemented by energy and these two together can provide successful achievement in optimization.
