A Channel Assignment for Concentric-Hexagon-Oriented Multi-Channel Wireless Networks

Fang−Yie Leu · 2018

In our previous study, we proposed a multiple channel assignment scheme, called concentric-hexagon-oriented multi-channel assignment (CHOMA for short) which can be used in a metropolitan-scale wireless network, and the deployed eNBs are organized as concentric-hexagon (C-hexa for short). But we did not deal with how channels are assigned to a C-hexa and to adjacent C-hexas. In this paper, we would like to define the assignment. Experimental results show that the CHOMA is an interference-free scheme. Even though the target system is a network with Multi-input and Multi-output (MIMO) stations, our approach still works. In this paper, the CHOMA is renamed to the COMA for differentiation.
