Management of Virtualization Technologies with Complex Event Processing

With the increase of data flow obtained from application virtualization platforms, requirements such as detecting patterns within such data and producing resource management actions have become an emerging need. In this study, a software architecture for a complex event processing module has been proposed and implemented for the analysis of data obtained from application virtualization environments. The prototype of the proposed module is discussed in detail. The performance of the implemented module was evaluated and the results were observed to be promising.
