The complexity of user jobs in the cloud environment is increasing day by day since many organizations are migrating their on-premise operations to cloud centers which in turn leading to huge traffic during peak hours. The cloud providers must be able to manage the traffic efficiently and provision the resources to the dynamic cloud users without any delay. This paper explores the various behaviors of incoming jobs and VM assignment in Azure cloud cluster and the following observations are made: i) Day and hourly analysis of job requests ii) Day and hour wise task assignment to virtual machines iii) Average CPU utilization for consolidated virtual machines iv) VM categorization and VM count v) Deployment ID and Subscription ID analysis.
