Number of technological devices increases every day and this situation affects the management of the networks. The increase of the service quality, the velocity of the data communication, and the data security become very important in computer networks. Software defined networks (SDNs) give the opportunity of connecting the human side of computer program with the physical device parts during the management of the networks. SDN introduces the abilities of easy applicability, hardware independency, and also the flexibility and scalability about the network architectures. In this study, an SDN network is implemented by using Mininet and then the routing module of an SDN Floodlight controller is realized with Dual Ascent Algorithm that has not been implemented before. The computational results of this algorithm are then compared with the default routing algorithm that is Dijkstra's algorithm in Floodlight.
