The evolution of data center technology across the globe has created a paradigm shift in the implementation of network and data infrastructure in modern day networks. This new technology will only be fully utilized if adequately monitored, hence the need for an effective data center infrastructure monitoring system. An appropriate monitoring system should be able to monitor both the data center environment and network. Hence, the need for an all-in-one integrated system that its main responsibility is to monitor data center environment as well as the network infrastructure. The robustness of this system is the combination of the above two aspects namely environment and the network into single integrated all-in-one system. The aim of this research work is not to replace existing segregated network specific monitoring tools such as Truview, Zabbix etc. rather to provide simplified integration of this systems with new design approach. This integrated system will consist of an embedded system, database system, log system and a control program. Several sensors will be responsible for gathering the data of the monitored variables (temperature, humidity, location, motion, smoke, water, and voltage variation). Backup notification system which will be archived through the use of mobile networks which will be responsible for handling escalations alerts in case the main notification system fails, and the main notification system will be in form on email system. Data visualization tools (front-end systems) will be responsible for displaying data of the system in meaningful fashion, as well as handling of users' requests.
