Inverse problems with structural prior information

We regret that, on page 724, some parts of figure 6 that should have been black appeared as white in the paper edition of this article. This arose from a technical problem with a new printing technology, using electronic files instead of conventional camera-ready hard copy. While this new technology yields improved printing of many figures, it failed to accommodate a complication in the PostScript code of this particular figure. This problem was confined to the paper edition and the correct image appeared in the online edition of the journal. The correct figure is reproduced below. Figure 6. The finite-element mesh used in the calculations. The grid is constructed on the basis of anatomical information that was obtained from an MRI-image. The locations of the electrodes are marked with darkened elements. The number of nodes is 369 and the number of elements is 672.
