Deeper Understanding of Constrained Quantum Annealing from the Perspective of the Localization Phenomena

Shu Tanaka · JPSJ News and Comments · 2020

Kudo (2020) studied the physical properties of constrained quantum annealing (CQA), which is a quantum annealing that searches only for solution space satisfying the constraints of a combinatorial optimization problem. The properties were investigated in terms of concurrence and localization phenomena. This paper proposes a method that is expected to be crucial in developing a deeper understanding of CQA.
