Echo DOA Based High-resolution Target Location

Active radar usually uses large-aperture receiving array to achieve sufficient spatial resolution. This work suggests that a more accurate target location can be obtained through applying passive super-resolution DOA method to the radar echo. Aiming at the problem of few samples and low signal-to-noise ratio, region-extraction and subspace-mapping pre-processing is proposed to fulfill the requirements of high-resolution DOA algorithm. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the method are verified by simulation and actual data.
