Smart phones are most essential digital device of modern hyper connected and growing society. The amount of digital data generated, transferred and stored in per unit time is in very huge amount and the major source of data generation is Android based smart phone. In smart phones and its data storage based applications have very sensitive information like banking credentials, authentication documents, confidential information, call log, location and other secret documents. So the protection system must be efficient and trustworthy. Only protection system cannot sufficient for comprehensive security patch. To improve security management anomaly based intrusion system is also must be incorporate in security management system. In this work data leakage in android based storage application is analyzed and an anomaly based intrusion detection system is discussed to improve the information security management in Android architecture. In this paper has detailed discussion on anomaly or non-signature based intrusions because it is a challenging task to minimize the data leakage in Android based smartphones.
