Flow Charts For Equation Solving and Maintenance of Skills

As Mathematics teachers, we all look for ways to make drill interesting or to clarify an idea such as equation solving. The use of flow charts as a “gimmick” for both purposes has proved to be very effective with seventh-grade students of all abilities as well as with eighth- and ninth-grade students of lower ability.
