Big data of the Babylonian library

The main goal of this article is to raise the question of the concept of Big data itself and the impact of this concept on various aspects of human cognition. The article is an attempt to comprehend the approaches to data processing and their relationship with each other. An assumption is made that the idea of Big data is embodied, in particular, in the image of the Babylonian library from the story of the same name by Jorge Luis Borges.
