Due to the explosive growth of global data, the existing storage system cannot adapt to the problem of storing massive data. Disk arrays have the advantages of high IO parallelism, cheap cost and data of reliability. However, as a storage system, it also faces the problem of mass data storage. We can add new disks to solve the problem of insufficient storage capacity. We call it "RAID scaling". HoVer code is a Non-MDS code. This code can allow two or more disks to fail. Therefore, it has higher reconstruction performance than traditional MDS code. In this article, we propose a RAID expansion scheme based on HoVer code ---H2CS. Compared with traditional RR and Semi-RR, the data migration rate of this scheme is reduced by 62.86-81.56% and the migration time is reduced by 60.1-65.2%.
