Grid Computing has already attained an established status and a future for everyone to venture into. Optimization of Grid resources at such a time requires a serious attention. Grid is a dynamic environment in which the type of resources and their locations are not known till the time of dispatch of a particular job. Hence finding the optimal resource suitable for the job is the most important activity in a Grid network. In this paper we model the resource optimization problem in Grid Computing as Multi-Objective Optimization problem. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to search the problem domain for feasible solutions. An algorithm named Functional Code Sieve is developed to obtain non-dominated solutions for the multi-objective problem and optimize and search the best Grid resources.
