Research Using a Discus Based Network Emulator.

This memo describes a proposal to use the DISCUS multi-microprocessor system developed at RSRE as a tool for emulating a circuit switched network. The research which could be undertaken using such an emulator is outlined, and the advantages of this approach are described. An analysis is presented to show how the current system may be used with little or no modification. (Author)
