The line between respecting and violating fundamental rights, in the context of a state of emergency, becomes rather thin due to ignorance and/or the incorrect enactment of European Union and national policies.This article summarizes two of the essential rights of European citizens, which were constantly violated during the COVID 19 pandemic.
