You have a solid codebase. You can write and run unit tests and format your code with Black. You have a repo, can create pull requests, and have a build pipeline that validates your code whenever you push to a branch or create a pull request. If you don’t have any of these things, I strongly advise you to go back and complete Chapter 5 before continuing with this chapter. While some of the early Pi configuration is applicable to any scenario, this chapter very quickly builds upon the artifact developed in the previous.
